Woman Fatally Struck By Car In Owings Mills Target Parking Lot

RadioOnFire.com – Baltimore County Police are investigating a crash that killed a woman who was holding her 11-month-old granddaughter.

Police say a 2014 Nissan Altima struck the woman in the parking lot of a Target, located in the 11000 block of Reisterstown Road, at around 10 p.m. on Saturday.

The woman that was struck has been identified as Ravinder Rao, 67. The child that she was holding, her granddaughter, was transported to a local hospital for treatment of injuries.

Officials say the child is in good condition at this time.

Police spokeswoman Lt. Andrea Bylen tells the Baltimore Sun the driver has been arrested for driving without a license.

The driver has not been publicly identified. Bylen says charges stemming from the crash are pending a review by the state’s attorney’s office.
