- Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) on Thursday said she agreed with House Judiciary Chairman Jerrold Nadler's assertion that the U.S. is currently facing a "constitutional crisis" after the panel voted to hold Attorney General William Barr in contempt of Congress. "Yes, I do agree with Chairman Nadler because the administration has decided that they're not going to honor their oath of office," Pelosi told reporters during a press conference.

Nadler made his comments on Wednesday after leading the contempt vote against Barr, which came after criticism of the way the attorney general handled the release of special counsel Robert Mueller's report into Russian election interference.
