NBA Says All-Star MVP Trophy Now Named “Kobe Bryant MVP Award”

RadioOnFire.com – The death of Kobe Bryant still has many hurt, but it didn’t stop people from paying respect to the storied basketball player. The NBA is paying their respect to Bryant, as NBA Commissioner Adam Silver recently revealed the name of the All-Star game MVP award is being changed to the Kobe Bryant MVP Award.

In a press conference in Chicago during the All-Star weekend festivities, Silver said, “No one embodied All-Star more than Kobe Bryant,” which is what ultimately led to the change. During his career, Kobe was chosen for the All-Star game 18 times and won the MVP four times.
