Recently, the Minnesota Vikings went into their first game of the new season with little to no fans in attendance due to the pandemic and made their stance clear on social justice by honoring George Floyd before kickoff at the U.S. Bank stadium.
Video footage was posted online by Dawn Mitchell of Fox 9, and the footage showed the Vikings roster standing shoulder-to-shoulder while an announcer speaks on George Floyd. Along with that, the family of George Floyd can be seen in attendance at the stadium. News of this comes after the Chiefs and Texans were booed while locking arms in unity before the coin toss in their game. Watch above.
