RadioOnFire.com – Baltimore Mayor Bernard C. “Jack” Young has responded to the latest comments from President Donald Trump regarding the city.

During an impromptu press conference Tuesday morning, Trump continued his criticism of Baltimore saying “Those people are living in hell in Baltimore … They’re so happy that I pointed out the corrupt politics of Baltimore. It’s filthy, dirty. It’s so horrible.”

During a tour of east Baltimore on Tuesday evening, Young said people who live in the city need to help clean up neighborhoods. Young described the neighborhood as “filthy” at one point.

While spotting areas where there was trash, Young talked about how Baltimore residents need to clean up garbage from the streets of the city.

In his latest tweets referencing Baltimore, Trump said billions of dollars pumped into the city have been stolen or wasted.

Young said, if that’s the case, the president should investigate.

“Don’t keep telling us that we’re not spending money wisely when you’re not giving us the resources that we need for Baltimore,” Young said.
