Manny Pacquiao beats Keith Thurman by split decision!

Manny Pacquiao faced off against Welterweight champion Keith Thurman in a 12-round battle that found a 40-year-old Pacquiao getting the best of the champ.

The two boxers faced off at the MGM Grand Garden and Pacquiao was able to walk away with the WBA title via a split decision. In the first round, Pacquiao was able to knockdown Thurman with a right hook, which set the tone for the fight. Pacquiao spoke on the fight after his win, saying “I’m not the kind of boxer to be a talker, just promoting the fight. I think we did a lot off things [to promote the fight]. He did his best, and I did my best to make the people happy.”

Glenn Feldman scores it 114-113 to Thurman, while Dave Moretti and Tim Cheatham both had it 115-112 for Pacquiao. (RadioOnFire scored it 115-112 to Pacquiao.)
