RadioOnFire.com – The judge in R. Kelly’s New York sex abuse case denied the embattled singer’s bail, citing that there is a risk of him fleeing or tampering with witnesses in the case. Kelly didn’t attend the hearing in Brooklyn federal court on Wednesday (October 2), as he’s currently in a Chicago jail awaiting his trial on similar charges, which is set to begin on April 27.

Kelly pled not guilty to the charges in his New York case, where he is accused of recruiting young girls for illegal sexual activity. He is also accused of kidnapping and transporting women and young girls across state lines for illegal sexual activity.
