According to TMZ, Dr. Dre’s estranged wife, Nicole Young, has filed paperwork requesting $2 million in temporary spousal support. Nicole is looking for $1,936,399 a month, along with $5 million for legal fees. The number is staggering and sets the stage for potentially ugly divorce proceedings. Nicole’s latest request comes on the heels of an already contentious divorce, which has already seen a prenup dispute.
Despite things heating up on the legal front, TMZ also reports that Nicole’s lifestyle hasn’t been infringed upon as a result of the divorce. She still lives in the former couple’s Malibu home and continues to have a personal chef and access to all the cars.
A source close to Dr. Dre tells TMZ that the super-producer will push back on Nicole’s latest filing citing that she wouldn’t need nearly that amount because her lifestyle has not changed since the divorce was filed.
