RadioOnFire.com – Following President Donald Trump’s Twitter attacks on Baltimore and Rep. Elijah Cummings, residents in West Baltimore were joined by city officials in an anti-crime walk with the focus of improving Baltimore.

Mayor Bernard C. “Jack” Young, Police Commissioner Michael Harrison and Councilman Eric Costello walked alongside residents of the Heritage Crossing community Monday night as they were able to point out issues they’re dealing with, such as vacant buildings and rodents.

WBAL-TV 11’s Kai Reed walked along with the group, and many residents said they aren’t focused on what Trump has to say about Baltimore, but on how they can make the city better.

Mayor Young told Reed that Trump needs to be a president and “stop tweeting,” adding that Trump could send federal help to Baltimore and other cities with high crime rates.
