A woman who punched a Baltimore police officer in May is out on probation.
The woman seen on camera hitting an officer in the face pleaded guilty to two assault charges and was sentenced to probation before judgment, WBAL-TV 11 reports. As long as she fulfills the terms of her two years of probation, the case will be off her criminal record.
The woman was seen on camera striking the officer. A second officer was then seen striking the woman and knocking her out. In June, prosecutors declined to pursue charges against the officer.
The woman’s attorney said he is likely to file a civil rights suit against the officer.
