Baltimore Police Investigate Recent Infant Death

RadioOnFire.com – Baltimore police and the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner continue to investigate the death of a 7-month-old girl.

Harlem Phillips was taken to Johns Hopkins Pediatrics late Sunday after reportedly falling off a sofa in a home in the 2400 block of Louise Avenue, police said. Police said the child arrived at the hospital unconscious and unresponsive.

Doctors told police the baby’s injuries were consistent with that of one who had been shaken. Harlem was pronounced dead at 8:31 a.m. Wednesday. The medical examiner determined that the child died as the result of blunt force trauma.
