RadioOnFire.com – On Sunday, Serena Williams was forced to withdraw from the Rogers Cup Finals due to an injury, giving her opponent Bianca Andreescu the win. Trailing 3-1 in the first set, Williams called for a medical timeout. Less than a minute later, the umpire announced that Williams was retiring from the match, giving hometown hero Andreescu the win, making her the first Canadian to win the Rogers Cup in 50 years. The 23-time Grand Slam winner was visibly upset, sitting on her bench looking down at the ground and wiping away tears.
